a bit about me

I am so incredibly glad you are here!

Originally from Tunisia and the founder of Moons, Ashref is a passionate and highly skilled expert in events, weddings, and celebrations. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Tunis Business School, he entered the industry at a young age—starting with a family event rental business and later leveling up, armed with life experience and academic knowledge. This journey led to the creation of Moons.

Since 2020, the company has become one of the leading event and wedding planning agencies in the MENA region. Under Ashref’s visionary leadership, the team has delivered countless memorable weddings and earned niche recognition both nationally and internationally.

In 2016, Ashref also founded Evenplans, a groundbreaking platform that connects event professionals and planners across the country, streamlining the event planning process and helping them find the right resources.

When he’s not running Moons, you’ll likely find him spending quality time with family, crafting a Pinterest-inspired décor piece in his workshop, seeking creative inspiration, enjoying a long kayak ride, indulging in a cozy family dinner (and drinks!), or simply adding sparkle to everything around him.
